Opened my profile.bin. I made all values of the stats to 0.0. Saved it but no changes on the stats when I checked. Should I change the Badass Rank to 0 too? EDIT: I tried to change my rank, tokens, and golden coins but nothing. I have my BL2 closed while I change the values and open it after saving the new profile.bin.

I restarted my PC and used 'run as administrator' on the editor. It works now! I also edited my key count from 1 to 5 but whenever I continue my game, I get 1 more golden key - a very slight annoyance but still one nonetheless. Any solution for this? I referred a friend to this program, but noticed that the modding is no longer working. I checked logs and opened profile.bin with Notepad++ to see what the problem was. Apparently, the game automatically updates the profile.bin with every launch, changing it back.

Are there other locations to find and delete a profile.bin.bak file? Or possibly a command in the ini files that stops this? -UPDATE- I messed around with engine files and moved the save directory to a folder I had already created with modded saves and profiles with WillowEngine. Now it says finishing game installation (I am offline so if you have never notuced this before, that is probably why), which probably means it needs to register this new information with Steam.
