I got this old beauty (See pictures at the bottom of post) C.P. Goertz Berlin Doppel-Anastigmat D.R.P. 74437 Serial No.91414 f/6,8-62 Parts: The lens it self (Brass) Lens hood (Brass) Rear adapter (Brass) Bajonet-mount (Aluminium & steel) But it is hard to find some good info about the lens. I'm pretty sure it wasn't build for a camera.

I have found a few of thees on ebay prize ranging up to about a 1000€ but the rings is somewhat different that those on mine and they have far more scratches. I have shot a few shots with it on my trusty Graflex and the result isn't ok. So what I'm asking is this: What can you tell me about this lens? What was it's application? Why is it so different compared to the ones I've found online?

If I were to sell it, what could I expect prize-wise? Any other info would also be appreciated. The lens has f-stops but no means of focusing so it must be for something with its own focusing, such as an enlarger or camera - if used with a camera, this would ideally need to have a focal-plane shutter, but of course exposures could be made with the lens cap. The black ring is a stepup ring, does this and the silver ring have the same rear thread?

I see you're calling it a bayonet mount, but it looks like a screw thread. The silver ring I would say is not as old as the lens. It's not clear what it's for - perhaps some reduction printing with an enlarger that didn't have enough bellows extension. Jonas, when you write 'Graflex' do you mean Graflex SLR or Graphic press camera? It is a taking lens. Dagors weren't sold as enlarging lenses.

Relay rack visio stencil The cells almost certainly won't fit into a modern shutter. If you want to shoot a Dagor in a modern shutter, sell the one you have, if necessary accumulate your small monetary units and when you've accumulated enough buy a modern Dagor in shutter. Craig, I think Jonas' lens is older than the first Packard shutter. Also, the Packard is made in the USA, the Dagor was made in Berlin. Goerz made their own shutters, wouldn't have sold Packards.
