A boy named Seiya has crossed way over to Greece to undergo the training to become a Saint and obtained the Cloth, Bronze cloth, the lowest position among Saints. Every Saint takes a constellation as their tutelary god.

Warriors called 'Saints' are the champions of hope who have always appeared since the Age of Myth whenever evil threatens the world. In this present day story, many years since the long fought 'Holy War' we find Saori Kido, a girl troubled by her mysterious powers. She is saved by a boy, Seiya 'Bronze Saint' from a sudden attack by an assassin, through the accident Saori realizes her destiny and mission and decides to go to 'Sanctuary' with Seiya and his company of Bronze Saints. In Sanctuary they confront 'Pope' and wage a desperate battle against the greatest Saints, the 'Gold Saints'. After watching this movie I am disappointed. A recommendation for different kind of watchers: • If you are a Saint Seiya anime fan, please spare yourself from a painful time watching this movie. • If you are not a fan, you might just survive the experience. The movie will just throw random stuff at you consistently during the 93 minutes it lasts. • If you like cool CG and animation, by all means watch it. Kudos to all the CG and technical staff that participated in the making, their work is simply impressive. If there would have been a script on par with the technical work, this could have been a really good movie.

The Goddess Artemis, Saori's older sister, comes to Earth to ask why she is not fulfilling her duties as a Goddess and takes control of Sanctuary in her stead. Hoping that it may bring peace on Earth, Saori goes to the Sanctuary and starts spilling her blood and it is up to the Bronze Saints to save her. After the bloody battle against, goddess 's Saints are still recovering when they find themselves face to face with their newest and most formidable foe: the dreadful goddess, accompanied by her. Artemis replaces Athena as the guardian deity and takes over the Sanctuary, turning Athena's Saints into her servants.

Upon invading the Sanctuary, the Bronze Saints learn that Athena was banished by Artemis and decide to fight the moon goddess in order to rescue their true goddess and free the Earth from Artemis's ominous control. The movie focuses mostly on Seiya and Athena, as the other Bronze Saints are not seen as much; they only appear during their respective fights with the other Angels, and briefly towards the end.
