First of all excuse my english im danish. The reason im making this 'copy/paste' guide is that i had a lot of trouble installing Geexbox.

I bought this device because i love XBMC and i thought android would be great and then install xbmc on top - it wasnt. I had some problems with screen resulotion and couldnt hide the homebar in the bottom of the screeen (I guess these problems could be solve, one way or another) So i started searching for another OS and a lot of people recommended Geexbox and it is better for what im using the Cubox-I i4pro for, which is XBMC and just that. Before jumping into the guide, i formatted my SD-card to FAT32 before installing eny image and I found out that i could only get the newest version (2014.04.15) to work. I found out a way to use the latest GeexBox image and it works. Go to this address 2. Download the image for you Cubox, for example: im using the i4Pro so i will download 'geexbox-devel-20140103-r16694.cuboxi.img-cubox-i4pro.xz' 3. Once.xz file is downloaded, extract with 7zip. You should have something like this after: geexbox-devel-20140103-r16694.cuboxi.img-cubox-i4pro 4.[Optional] In Windows make sure you have the option to show 'File name extensions' on. In Windows 8 is as simple as opening Explorer, going to the 'View' tab and checking for it. Now change the file name as follow: geexbox-devel-20140103-r16694.cuboxi.img-cubox-i4pro to geexbox-devel-20140103-r16694.cuboxi.img by removing everything after.img this will make the XBian installer think this is a.img file even though Windows will say the file is corrupted if you try to mount it.

Once those steps are done now you are basically on cruise control 6. Download this is the older XBian installer. 7.extract both files.

Once extracted run the XBianInstaller.exe make sure usbit32.dll is in same folder. Now follow this steps on the picture.

First of all u can use win32 diskimager to flash an *img to an sd card than u can use gparted (linux app) to resize your sd card.

Gparted offers a live usb stick version, download it, use unetbootin to flash it to an usb stick reboot your pc, boot from usb stick, start gparted and resize the partition. But keep in mind, that u have to reinstall the whole geexbox image from time to time, caus there are daily updates of the alpha version.(and on every reinstall, u have to resize your partition again) i think there is already an autoupdater for geexbox out, but i never tried it.
